Capabilities

Every stage, under one roof.

We cold and hot forge, machine, press, roll threads, weld, finish, test and pack in house, on our own machines, with tooling from our own tool room.

Capacity

Production capacity: 500 MT per month across two manufacturing units.

350,000+ sq ft in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, with on-site accommodation for our staff and workers.

In house

How a part is manufactured.

Nine stages, in the order a part moves through the plant.

  1. Forging & heading

We manufacture both cold and hot forged parts. Bolts are cold forged on the bolt makers and headers, with the friction screw presses dedicated to bolt forging. U, J and L bolts are hot forged or cold hydraulically pressed.

    • 8 bolt makers
    • 2 headers
    • 6 friction screw presses
  2. Machining

Automotive and structural bolts are machined where the drawing calls for it, then heat treated.

  3. Pressing & stamping

Flat washers are pressed with compound tooling and feeder systems. Brackets, clamps, hangers and clips are stamped from sheet metal.

    • 45 press machines
    • 35 stamping machines
  4. Channel forming

Plain, slotted and back-to-back strut channel is formed in house.

    • 2 channel forming machines
  5. Thread rolling

    • 12 thread rolling machines
  6. Welding & fabrication

MIG welding for fabricated and sheet metal parts.

    • 10 MIG welding machines
  7. Surface treatment

Every finish is done in-house. Zinc plating runs on our own electroplating plant, with a capacity of 25 tonnes per day.

    • Hot-dip galvanizing
    • Zinc plating
    • Black phosphating
    • Autoblack
    • Magni coating
    • Gleitmo wax coating
    • GEOMET coating
    • Powder coating

    Finishes by product

  8. Testing

Stage-wise quality control as the part is manufactured, with tensile, hardness and salt spray testing in our own laboratory.

    Testing, documents & compliance

  9. Packing

Parts are packed in house, ready to ship.

Engineering & R&D

Making the impossible possible.

Our R&D team brings together engineers from different disciplines. We work alongside our customers' engineers to design parts that last longer and suit the job they're made for.

  • Custom parts

Send a drawing, a sketch or a sample. We develop the part and make it to your specification.

  • CAD drawings and 3D models

We prepare drawings and CAD files for your approval before production starts.

  • Simulation

We check designs in simulation software before tooling, so problems are found on screen, not in the field.

  • Testing and reports

Parts are tested in our own lab, and we supply test reports with your order.

  • New developments every month

New parts go from drawing to production every month.

Finishes

Every finish, done in-house.

Galvanizing, plating and coating on our own lines, for each product family.

This chart shows our standard finishes. We can plate or coat any product we make to your specification, not just the families ticked above.

All our zinc plating has trivalent (Cr3+) passivation — hexavalent-chromium-free. On bolts, nuts, washers and electrical accessories it comes in white, blue, black, yellow or green.

Tool room

Our own tooling.

Tooling for pressing, stamping and injection molding is manufactured and maintained in house.

That is what lets us take on custom parts as readily as catalogue lines: custom-engineered forged, stamped, fabricated and sheet metal parts, manufactured to international standards or to customer drawing.
